ATOM's Thoughts (Philosophy)

[What is ATOM]

At ATOM International Human Resources Organization, we discover, develop, and support the activities of international human resources such as engineers, technical intern trainees, and specified skilled workers.

We cooperate with Japanese trainee supervising organizations, accepting companies, Japanese language schools, registration support organizations, overseas universities, junior colleges, vocational schools, high schools, vocational training schools, recruitment agencies, sending organizations, Japanese language schools, etc. ATOM is active.

[Working in Japan for a long time with a new status of residence]

In order to meet the needs of the industrial world, the Japanese government will make a drastic policy change to compensate for the shortage of human resources and labor in various fields caused by the declining birthrate and aging population.

In December 2018, revisions to the Immigration Control Act were decided.

In April 2019, a new specific skill qualification system started.

This bill will establish two more statuses of residence for foreigners. By granting specific skill No. 1 and specific skill No. 2 qualifications to foreign workers, foreigners who have "certain knowledge and skills" and "skilled skills" are allowed to stay.

On the other hand, there are 2.47 million foreign residents in Japan, and according to a survey by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, about 1.28 million foreigners are already working (as of October 2017). and 35.9% of those who have a status-based status of residence with permanent residency in Japan, and 20.3% of all international students who work part-time jobs other than the original purpose of their stay, called "activities outside the status of residence." “Technical intern training” is 20.2%.

“Technical Intern Training Program” and “Specified Skilled Worker Qualification” are different. In fact, the reality is that they work as a regular labor force even though it is called a "technical intern training system", so foreigners who have a certain amount of skills can (virtually) work for 10 years. It can be said that the aim of this revision of the Immigration Control Act is to complement the labor force, so that if you pass the exam, you can renew your visa and work in Japan for many years.

International human resources who are beneficial to Japan will be able to live and work in Japan for a long time.

For construction companies that require technical skills and experience for their work, being able to work in Japan for a long time is very important in recruiting human resources.

[ATOM is strong in construction]

At ATOM, we specialize in finding, educating, and supporting the activities of international human resources, mainly in the construction field.

① Strengthen Japanese language skills (Because there are many jobs that involve dangerous work and are often done with small numbers of people, Japanese language skills are more important than other industrial occupations when doing construction work.)

② Implementation of immigration training for international human resources (engineers, technical intern trainees, specified skilled workers) (attached school)

③ Acquisition of a driver's license, support for switching in Japan

④ Implementation of safety and health education (skill training, special education) (annexed center)

⑤ Acquisition and learning management of national construction qualifications (architects, construction management engineers, etc.)

⑥ Lending of educational support money

⑦ Supporting activities of international human resources in Japan and overseas (employment introduction to Japanese companies, support for independent entrepreneurship)

[Ingenuity to reliably find and nurture good human resources]

In discovering international human resources, we are discovering excellent human resources through ATOM's own recruitment from multiple recruitment agencies, Japanese language schools, universities, junior colleges, and vocational high schools.

① Conduct a preliminary survey to independently investigate educational background, work history, skills, skills, personality, license status, aptitude, home environment, etc.

② In the pre-interview by ATOM, based on the candidate's ability, aptitude, etc., we will explain the desired job type, desired company, and career consultation, and allocate the best candidate to the Japanese company.

③ In the main interview selection, we will decide the final successful applicants together with the host company.

④ After passing the exam, Japanese language education will be provided. Successful applicants will study Japanese for 6 to 9 months in their home country before entering the country.

At the Japanese Language Proficiency Test level, trainees will reach N4, and engineers will reach N3 and N2 before entering Japan, but we will implement ATOM for learning achievement management.

⑤ We will also manage the deferment period for obtaining a driver's license and responding to the switching test in Japan.

⑥ We will reliably implement the necessary documents, verification, collection, etc. for the application for residence, and will manage the smooth procedure until the candidate enters Japan (immigration control).

⑦ ATOM, we will visit the homes of trainees, engineers, etc. as needed to build a relationship of trust with their families and support their smooth employment in Japan.

[ATOM is a consultant for international human resources]

ATOM proposes human resources from Southeast Asian and South Asian countries. Conducting surveys and management consultations on international human resource sending organizations and educational institutions from partner countries for technical training and specific skills such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, China, Myanmar, Cambodia, Mongolia, India, Nepal, Laos, etc. I'm here.

[Types of international construction human resources]

[1] Engineer

Personnel who have graduated from a construction university in their home country, have computer skills such as CAD, and will become design and site construction managers

[2] Technical intern trainee (trainee)

High school graduates, vocational school, junior college, and university graduates who acquire technical skills and work on site (Fixed for 3 years for No. 1 and No. 2, extended for 2 years for No. 3, up to 5 years)

[3] Specified skilled worker

Persons who have completed Practical Training No. 2 (three years of practical training), those who have completed Practical Training No. 3 (five years of practical training), Japanese equivalent or higher, and those who have passed the practical examination (5 years for Practical Training 1, permanent training for Practical Training 2)

Personnel who can also perform high-level construction work

[Thoughts of ATOM]

International human resources such as technical intern trainees, specified skilled workers, engineers, etc. will be supported to learn, work and grow in Japan for a long time, to be active in their home country, to realize their dreams, and so on with the new status of residence system. that is our responsibility.

We would like to ask for the understanding and support of the Japanese host company.
